Corrugation

The CT series has been developed by Provea & Escofier – member of the Galilé Group.

This technology, based on cold rolling, enables to corrugate tubes from diameter 8 up to 50mm, continuously or discontinuously. Tube material can vary: steel, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium… and so on. The corrugation is realized thanks to disks that penetrates the tube. This process can be implemented online (welded tube production line) or outline (tubes already cut to a certain length).
The tube corrugation is mainly used for its capacity to improve thermic exchange (heat exchangers, power generation…and so on). It is also used for its capacity to regulate the stream / flow inside the tube.
