Tube finning machines have been developed in partnership with Escofier, member of the Galilé group. The machine proposed by Escofier and Provea produces extruded fins (as opposed to finned tubes based on strip added). The 4 tools of the machine (rotating disks) compress the tube and create the desired finns. The 2 main advantage sof this type of finning are :
– Heat transfer optimized (no physical separation between the tube and the fins
– Extra rigidity of the fins
